Live From Chapel Hill – It’s Winter Think Tank!

It feels a little surreal that we’re in person for another HERO Think Tank meeting. I mean, didn’t we just see each other in September 2022? The past three years have certainly provided much-needed perspective on life (and work) priorities. Connecting – with each other at HERO’s convenings, with our individual purpose, with HERO’s purpose “connecting science and practice.” If you weren’t able to make it to this Think Tank, you can still take advantage of the learnings, and HERO members will be able to access the recorded presentations in the HERO Hub.

Also, I want to call your attention to a new report from the Foundation for Social Connection that I co-led with Dr. Jessica Grossmeier, highlighting guidance specific to employers and their unique opportunity positively impact social connection at work. I’d love to hear what you think!

As a 100% remote team, the HERO staff value the times that we’re able to connect, especially in person. And we do not take for granted any of you who are connecting with us and our shared purpose, whether that be at HERO Think Tanks, on our committees, through our webinars, or through this monthly newsletter.

With gratitude,

Karen
